Former President and Founder of ShowTek Events, a technical production and entertainment company serving the events industry, where Rob’s business mission was to be one of the best and brightest “without the attitude.” With expertise in managing teams and providing world class customer service, Rob is an intuitive leader who collaborates with marketing, creative/design, and the necessary stakeholders to produce results on budget. All the while winning a few industry awards along the way.
A serial event professional, Rob sharpened his business skills in college at the height of the 80’s party movement as a Disc Jockey, thus beginning his love affair with the event industry. Hands on experience started from the first paying gig of $50 to producing events and conferences with such notables as; President George W. Bush, President Jimmy Carter, Garth Brooks, Zac Brown Band, and the list goes on. Rob’s career path has also taken him to the platform as a speaker, presenting on such vital topics as; customer service, sales success and leadership.
An Event black belt – literally and figuratively – having trained with former Olympians, Rob has a keen sense of what it takes to operate on an Olympic level. Lastly, with budgeting in mind, Rob has a strong sense of where to trim the fat and when to embellish, all in an effort to achieve award winning results.

Rob is also dedicated to furthering the professional development of his colleagues in the industry. He is the Co-founder and Past President of the Denver Chapter of the International Live Events Society, a current member of the Project Management Institute and was an advisory board member for the Zoology Foundation.
Currently residing in a small ranching town outside of Denver, Colorado, with his wife of 32 years, Rob enjoys; competing in cowboy mounted shooting with his horse Gaucho, shopping with his daughter and talking about cars with his son.
